Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team posted an 8-1 win over William Paterson University this afternoon in non-conference action. The Roadrunners moved to 6-4 overall as they wrapped up the fall season while the Pioneers stand at 0-12 overall.
Marine Uyttenhove and
Marina Kaiafas at first doubles and
Francesca Chicherchia Tamila Akhunova at second doubles each posted 8-0 shut out wins.
Megha Mehta and
Elizabeth Gamba recorded an 8-5 win at third doubles as the Roadrunners collected all three team points.
Uyttehove posted a 6-0, 6-3 win at first singles while Chicherchia won 6-2, 6-0 at second singles.
Tamila Akhunova posted a 6-0, 6-1 win at third singles while Kaiafas won 6-1, 6-1 at fourth singles. At sixth singles, Gamba recorded a 6-3, 6-1 victory.
