Bronx, NY:  The Ramapo College women's tennis team opened the 2018-2019 season with an 8-1 win over Lehman College on the road today.  With the win the Roadrunners open the season at 1-0 and give Lehman their first loss at 0-1.

The Roadrunners swept singles action with Marine Uyttenhove leading the way at first singles dropping Lizaveta Markouskaya, 6-4, 6-1.  The Lady Roadrunners would get two wins in doubles action earning victories in the one and two hole.  Lehman's lone point coming at third doubles where Joanna Rosario and Yohara Molineros earned a default victory with no Ramapo pair competing in the slot.

The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow when they host Rutgers Camden at 1pm at the Athletic Center.
