Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's basketball team secured a big win over The College of New Jersey Lions, 64-60, in the Bradley Center. The Roadrunners improved to 17-5 overall (13-2 NJAC), while the Lions moved to 16-6 overall (11-4 NJAC).
 
TCNJ got on the board first with Jordan Glover banking a layup in to start the game. But their lead wouldn't be held on for long as the Roadrunners began to heat up. Christopher Moseley was feeling it early as he totaled 14 points in the first half, going 5-for-7 from the field including two threes.
 
Nick Stanek also contributed eight points on 3-of-6 shooting with two threes as well. Ramapo had their lead up to 15 at one point in the half, but TCNJ would cut it to eight as the Roadrunners took a 36-28 lead into the locker room.
 
The second half saw more Roadrunner momentum as they made their first three shot attempts, two off Lion turnovers. Josh Ford had one of those layups as he finished the game with eight points.
 
The Lions wouldn't let up though as Eric Murdock Jr. and Randy Walko continued to cut into Ramapo's lead. After a Glover layup made it a two-point lead for the Roadrunners at 9:54, coach Chuck McBreen called a timeout to regroup. That is when Deon Hale brought the momentum back to the home team's bench.
 
Hale knocked down two free throw to extend the lead to four, but it was his defense that broke things open late in the second half. He recorded two steals on Murdock that resulted in two, quick layups moving the lead to ten with six minutes to play.
 
TCNJ, though, wouldn't quit as they two three to make it a three-point lead following some missed free throws by the Roadrunners on the other end. But Moseley would hit one of his two free throws after an intentional foul, and a desperation shot from the Lions couldn't get the job done as the final buzzer read a 64-60 win for Ramapo.
 
Moseley finished with a team-high 19 points for the Roadrunners, while Stanek and Thomas Bonacum contributed with 10 and nine points respectively. Glover tallied a game-high 23 points for TCNJ with Murdock scoring 17 and Walko finishing with 12.
 
The next time the Roadrunners are in action will be on Feb. 7th when they take on Rutgers-Camden University on the road at 8pm.
