Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swim team posted a 137-68 win over conference rival William Paterson University tonight at the Adele and Reuben Thomas swimming pool. The Roadrunners moved their overall record to 4-4 and 1-3 in the NJAC while the Pioneers now stand at 12-3 overall and 0-3 in the conference.

The 200-yard medley relay team began the meet with a first place finish when they clocked in at 1:41.19. The team was made up of
Andrew Ramos,
Sam Cossaboon,
Alex Barszcz and
Jordan Leonardo.

Nicholas Markwell and Joe Buckley went 1-2 in the 1,000-yard freestyle. Markwell placed first with a time of 10:54.09 while Buckley clocked in at 11:15.44. In the 200-yard freestyle
Chaz Cella finished first (1:49.67) while
Jose Alferez took home second (1:53.90) and
Sean Flannery placed third in 1:56.73.
Matt Stenger was out-touched at the wall as he placing second in 23.55 in the 50-yard freestyle while
Noah Callahan took home a second place finish in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:09.61. In the 200-yard IM
Aviad Mana and Barszcz finished in second place (2:07.12) and third place (2:11.57) respectively.
Benjamin Kern earned a first place finish in the 100-yard freestyle when he clocked in at 51.10.
Tomer Bachar was out-touched at the wall in the 200-yard backstroke by .68 tenths of a second as he placed second in 1:58.92.

In the 500-yard freestyle, Cella and Leonardo went 1-2 with times of 5:02.86 and 5:28.32 respectively. Cossaboon won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:17.11 while
Noah Callahan placed second in 2:24.88.

The men's 200-yard freestyle relay team placed first in 1:30.58. The 'A' relay team was made up of Ramos, Kern, Leonardo and Stenger. The 'B' relay team placed second overall with a time of 1:33.70. They were made up of Alferez, Bachar,
Aspen-Jade Tucker and Barszcz.

The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, February 3rd at 2pm when they host Drew University in a non-conference meet.
