Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team won their second straight NJAC conference match with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-10) victory over New Jersey City University at the Bradley Center. With the win the Roadrunners improve to 9-2 overall, 2-0 in the NJAC while the Gothic Knights drop to 4-5 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
 
Senior 
Larysa Iwaskiw collected 22 of Ramapo's 32 kills in the match as she hit .429 with 22 kills on 42 attempts and just four errors. Sophomore 
Kate Shirkey dished out a team high 21 assists while 
Sarah Mulligan led the team on defense with 18 digs and four aces. The team hit .213 in the match with 32 kills on 94 attempts and 12 errors. 
Karina Almeda and Morgan Ridgeway also posted three aces each in the match while 
Hannah Frascella and 
Samantha Main each collected two and three kills respectively.
 
For the Gothic Knights, Ayleen Pittar and Amber O'donnell each tallied seven kills while Rachel McIntyre dished out a team high 21 assists. Pittar also led NJCU on defense with 12 digs while Shaylah Ware collected 11 of her own. The team hit .041 in the match with 23 kills on 98 attempts and 19 errors.
 
The Roadrunners return to action this weekend when they host Farmingdale State College, Middlebury College, Williams College and New York University. Farmingdale will take on Middlebury tomorrow night at 5pm while the Roadrunners will take on the Rams at 7pm.
