Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team earned their third straight win with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-15) home victory over the College of Staten Island. The Roadrunners improve to 13-8 overall while the Dolphins now stand at 5-10 on the season.
Ramapo hit .456 in the match with 50 total kills.
Eric Van Thuyne led the team with 11 kills while
Brenden Russell and
Justin Feigeles put down seven and six kills respectively.
Lucas Inglis led the team with 25 assists while
Garrett Fitzsimmons dished out 15 of his own. Inglis also led the team with two aces in the match.
Terrence Cando posted nine digs to lead the team on defense while Van Thuyne and
Sean Culwell added five each.
Mark Palencia led CSI with seven kills while Adil El Haddad dished out a team high 17 assists. Ronald Tisbe posted seven digs on defense and Zebin Guo added six of his own. The Dolphins hit .145 in the match with 23 total team kills.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow night when they travel to Sarah Lawrence College in a Skyline Conference match-up starting at 7pm.
