Madison, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swim team defeated Drew University today 146-114 in the final swim meet of the regular season. The Roadrunners stand at 4-3 overall while the Rangers fall to 6-3 overall.
The 200-yard medley relay team made up of
Matt Stenger,
Aviad Mana,
Julian Giglio and
Patrick Herrera placed first overall in 1:42.96.
Jose Alferez,
Tomer Bachar and Stenger earned the top three times in the 100-yard backstroke. Alferez placed first in 55.07 while Bachar finished second (55.62) and Stenger placed third in 57.46.
Mana and
Evan Graziano went 1-2 in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:05.46 and 2:10.22 respectively.
Chaz Cella won the 500-yard freestyle as he out touched his opponents with a time of 5:01.28. Ramapo also won the 200-yard freestyle relay as they clocked in at 1:30.79. The team was made up of Bachar,
Benjamin Kern, Giglio and Stenger.
The Roadrunners return to action at the MET Championships hosted at Rutgers University on February 17th through the 19th.
