Montclair, NJ: The #10 Montclair State University field hockey team defeated Ramapo College tonight 3-0. The Red Hawks improve to 15-2 overall, 4-2 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners wrap up the 2017 season with a 7-10 overall record, 2-4 in the conference.
Ramapo's seven wins is a program best when the squad finished 11-6 overall while the two conference wins equals the NJAC win total from the same season, both coming in 2011.
MSU, who is ranked #10 in the latest NFHCA Top 25, got on the board early with the eventual game-winning goal from Kailey Dalgauer, her seventh of the season for a 1-0 lead (2:25). Victoria Rossi assisted on the goal. In the 13th minute (12:15) Kelly Watson scored on a penalty corner while Amber Haslett tallied her 12th goal of the season off a pass from Watson in the 34th minute (33:16) off another penalty corner to extend the Red Hawk lead 3-0. MSU did all their scoring in the first half.
Ramapo got their first shot off in the second half as MSU held a 27-1 advantage in shots while they posted a 27-1 advantage in penalty corners. MSU goalie Kaitlin Maguire went untested in the net to earn the shutout win. For the Roadrunners, senior

Wisneski ends her time at Ramapo as the career leader in saves (601) and single season saves leader with 219 this season. Senior
