Mahwah, NJ: The Kean University women's soccer team earned a 2-0 shutout over Ramapo College today at the Athletic Center. The Cougars improve to 11-6-1 overall, 5-4 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners wrap up the 2017 season with a 4-12 overall record and 2-7 in the conference.
Kean scored one goal in each half in the win. Lexy Monroy put Kean on the board in the first half (40:24) off a pass from Kaitlyn Pallitto for her second goal of the year. The two paired up in the second half in the 59th minute (58:15) when Pallitto recorded her fourth goal of the season taking a 2-0 lead. The Cougars outshot Ramapo in the game 20-6 while they recorded an 11-5 edge in shots on goal. Kean also posted all five corners in the game.
Casey McDonnell posted four saves in the game while
Elizabeth Harvell collected nine for the Roadrunners.
