In the bottom of the sixth, Ramapo's Grace Brennan tied the game at three with a two-run home run over the left-center field fence 3-3.

Neither team could score a run in the seventh pushing the game into extra innings and the international tiebreaker. In the top of the ninth, Dannie Dinsfriend came up big for the Scarlet Raptors with a pinch-hit RBI single to right field to take a 4-3 lead. The Roadrunners came back to tie the game in the bottom of the ninth 4-4. Ally Spellman was placed on second base and moved over by Danielle Saporito's sac bunt. Haper Patsko then drove her home with a sac fly to center field to extend the game for the Roadrunners. Rutgers Camden pushed the eventual game winning run across in the tenth inning when Lindsay Day ripped a double to left field allowing Brittany Scott to score 5-4. The Scarlet Raptors held Ramapo in the bottom of the tenth to earn the NJAC road win.
