ROADRUNNERS GRAB TWO SKYLINE WINS ON THE ROAD

Bronxville, NY:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team posted two Skyline victories today over Sarah Lawrence and New Jersey City University to improve to 17-14 overall and 13-2 in conference play.
 
The Roadrunners earned a dominating 3-0 (25-6, 25-4, 25-4) sweep behind sophomore outside hitter Justin Feigeles in their first match-up with Sarah Lawrence.  Feigeles led the team with ten kills as he hit .500 with just three errors on 14 attempts.  Paul Close recorded nine kills and Nick Amos collected six as the team went 36-53 with only four hitting errors hitting .604 in the win.  Mikhael Erushalimski dished out 27 assists and Terrance Cando picked up a team leading eight digs.  Feigeles recorded seven service aces and the team combined for five team blocks.  For Sarah Lawrence, Alex Carroll and Callan Moor each picked up a team leading three kills and the team went 6-52 with 15 errors hitting -.173.
 
Ramapo earned a second win over NJCU, 3-1 (25-16, 25-19, 22-25, 25-23) this time behind Close who recorded 16 kills.  Feigeles added 12 kills and the team hit 56-109 with 22 errors hitting .312.  Erushalimski dished out an additional 42 assists on the day and Close led the team's defense with eight digs. Feigeles added seven digs and Cando picked up seven of his own.  For NJCU, Ivan Prensa recorded ten kills and Sheldon Coure collected seven kills as the team went 34-97 with 24 errors hitting .103 in the loss.  Erick Nascimento dished out 30 assists and David Penaherrera led the defense with ten digs.
 
Ramapo returns to action tomorrow when they travel to St. Joe's College-Brooklyn at 2:00 PM.
