Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swim team defeated non-conference rival Lehman College today at the Athletic Center 135-55. The Roadrunners improve to 2-2 overall while Lehman falls to 3-2 overall.
The 200-yard medley relay team posted a first place finish with a time of 1:41.91. The team was made up of
Matt Stenger,
RJ Carillo,
Evan Graziano and
Tomer Bachar.
Chaz Cella won the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:37.05) while
Tyler Czubachowski took second with a time of 11:01.13.
Jose Alferez (1:51.51) and
Aspen-Jade Tucker (1:51.53) finished 1-2 in the 200-yard freestyle while Bachar posted a winning time of 56.96 in the 100-yard backstroke.
Carillo won the 100-yard breaststroke, touching the wall in 1:00.90 while
Aviad Mana placed second with a time of 1:04.64.
Will Mayer and
Alex Barszcz went 1-2 in the 50-yard freestyle with times of 23.22 and 23.68 respectively. Barszcz won the 100-yard freestyle (51.82) while
Patrick Herrera clocked in at 53.02 for a second place finish. Czubachowski won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:09.88 while
Nicholas Markwell placed second in 2:14.98.
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to Montclair State University on January 21st at 1pm.
