RAMAPO NJAC REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONS

Camden, NJ:  With their 18th straight win tonight and undefeated season in conference play, the Ramapo College women's volleyball team has won the 2016 New Jersey Athletic Conference regular season.  Tonight the Lady Roadrunners swept Rutgers Camden, 3-0 (25-18, 25-13, 25-23) to improve to 22-3 overall and 8-0 in the NJAC.

Larysa Iwaskiw led the team's offensive game as she collected 22 kills on 43 attempts with just four errors.  She hit .419 as the team hit .245 with 37 kills and 98 attempts with 13 errors.  Rachel Selmore and Kate Shirkey split the setting duties collecting 16 and 12 respectively while Kristen Behrens picked up a team leading 12 digs.  Iwaskiw recorded five service aces and five digs while Emily Guzman collected five kills on the night.

For Rutgers Camden, Morgan Mulligan and Jordan Erskine each collected six kills and Caitlyn Marcano assisted on 14 points.  The defense was led by Melanie Kaiser with 14 digs.  The Scarlet Raptors combined for 27 kills and 17 errors on 93 attempts hitting .108 in the loss.

Ramapo will take on Farmingdale on Thursday, October 27th when they host the non-conference opponent at 7pm in their final regular season match of the season.  Prior to the match-up the Roadrunners will honor their senior members of the team.  

The Lady Roadrunners commence post-season play on Thursday, November 3rd when they host the semi-final round of the NJAC Championships, earning a first round bye with their #1 seeding.  This is the 12th straight year the Lady Roadrunners have made the NJAC post-season tournament.
