Saratoga Springs, NY: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team posted a 3-1 (25-22, 24-26, 25-17, 25-11) victory tonight over Skidmore College in the opening match of the 2015 Skidmore Tournament. With the victory the Roadrunners improve to 8-3 overall while Skidmore falls to 3-11.
Larysa Iwaskiw posted a team leading 25 kills and hit .233 in the win as the team combined for 47 kills on 146 attempts with 28 errors hitting .130.
Emily Guzman contributed six kills as
Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out a team high 35 assists.
Kristen Behrens and Iwaskiw each picked up 11 digs while Mac Iver led the defense with 16 digs of her own.
Natalia Saavedra picked up ten digs on the night.
Skidmore hit .021 as a team with Caite Canfield leading the way with 13 kills. Marcela led the defense with 21 digs.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow when they face off with Sage at 11am.
