Pomona, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's soccer team dropped a tough battle, 0-1 to the Ospreys of Stockton University today in their first New Jersey Athletic Conference of the season.  With the loss the Roadrunners fall to 3-3-1 overall and 0-1 in conference play.  Stockton University improves to 6-1 overall and gets their first NJAC win under their belt at 1-0.

It took just over 52 minutes for a ball to hit the back of the net and it was for the Ospreys as Anthony Colofranson scored his fourth goal of the season off a cross from Jarde Ruff.  The goal came at 52:24 and ended as the lone goal of the game. 

In the first half, Ramapo held a slight 6-5 advantage in shots and Stockton took control in the second half leading 8-4 in shots for a game total 13-10 edge over the Roadrunners.  Matthew Hernandez played the full 90 minutes for Ramapo collecting just two saves as Bobby Varga blocked six for the Ospreys.  Stockton also held an advantage in corner kicks at 6-1.

The Roadrunners will take on non-conference opponents Berkeley College and Old Westbury on Monday and Wednesday respectively. Both games set for 4pm.
