Madison, NJ: The Devils of FDU-Florham proved to be too much for the Ramapo College women's lacrosse team today as the Roadrunners dropped a tough 2-14 decision on the road. With the loss the Roadrunners fall to 2-3 overall on the year while the Devils improve to 7-3.
FDU out shot Ramapo, 31-10 in the game as they collected 14 goals, 11 coming in the first half of play. Ramapo finally got on the scoreboard in the second half of play when
Lindsay Hughes and
Alyssa Tachon each collected a goal. Hughes led in draw controls with four and Tachon led the way in ground balls with three.
Monica Bubello and
Jessica Meyers split the goaltending duties for Ramapo making nine and one save respectively.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow, April 4th when they travel to NJAC rival, TCNJ for a 1pm start.
