Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Winter Haven, FL:  The Ramapo College baseball team split a double header today with Wisconsin Lacrosse, taking game one 2-0, before falling in game two, 4-8.  With the win and loss, Ramapo stands at 8-3 overall on the year.  Wisconsin Lacrosse stands at 5-2. 
 
It took just one run in the top of the 1st inning in game one for the Roadrunners to earn the victory.  With one out, Brandon Berger walked and later came home on a fielding error to score what turned out to be the game winner.  DeAngelis tacked on insurance in the 5th inning after singling to get on base with one out. 
 
DeAngelis went 2-3 with one run in the game while Rich Policastro also hit 2-3 in the win.  Berger went 1-2 with the game winning run.
 
Tom Portesy pitched the complete game letting up just three hits and no runs while striking out eight.  He remains undefeated on the year at 4-0.
 
After two full innings and game two tied at 4-4, Wisconsin Lacrosse would take a three run, 7-4 lead in the top of the fourth inning after a single from Taylor Kohlwey drove in Joel Zyhowski, and a homer from Justin Anderson would bring in two to put Wisconsin Lacrosse ahead.  Wisconsin Lacrosse would add an additional run in the top of the 6th proving to be too much for Ramapo, dropping the Roadrunners 8-4 in the second game of a non-conference double header match-up.
 
Anderson hit a perfect 2-2 with one run and three RBI and Shane Adler went 2-3 with two runs and one RBI.  Kohlwey hit 2-4 with two runs and one RBI as Ben Cejka got the win in six innings, striking out eight and walking two, letting up all four of Ramapo's runs.
 
Mike Campbell took the loss for Ramapo falling to 1-1.  He pitched just one inning and let up four runs.  He struck out one.
 
Joe Venturino hit 2-4 with one run and two RBI while Scott Peschiani hit 2-3 with one run.  Chris Werr drove in two runs while hitting 1-3.

Ramapo plays their final Spring Break game at the Russ Matt Tournament tomorrow against Benedictine at 10:00am.
