Hilton Head, SC:  The Ramapo College men's tennis team posted a 6-3 win today over Edgewood College in their first match-up of the Spring Fest Tennis Tournament.  With the win the Roadrunners improve to 3-2 overall, while Edgewood falls to 3-7.

In singles action, the Roadrunners won the 3rd through 6th seeded match-ups with Mike Abelev leading the way at the 3rd spot with a 6-2, 4-2 win.  Justin Bevilaqua posted a 6-1, 2-6, 10-7 win at fourth singles before Mike Friedman posted a 6-4, 6-3 win of his own in the fifth spot.  In the final singles match-up, Adam Petrovics got the Roadrunners another point defeating Jaime Benavides, 6-2, 6-2.

Willen Feygin and Bevilacqua posted a 9-8 (7-4) victory in doubles action in the second spot, while Abelev and Petrovics wrapped up the afternoon with an 8-3 win over the Edgewood pair in the final doubles match-up.

Ramapo returns to action Tuesday, March17th at 8:30am when they play Frostburg State University.
