Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team defeated Rutgers-Camden University in a key NJAC match-up tonight at the Bradley Center 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-21). The Roadrunners improve to 15-6 overall, 5-2 in the NJAC while the Scarlet Raptors now stand at 11-10 overall, 4-3 in the conference.
Three Roadrunners tallied double-digit kills in the match as they were led by sophomore
Larysa Iwaskiw with 21 kills on 52 attempts and five erros. She hit .308 in the match with two aces and 12 digs. Junior
Emily Guzman recorded 11 kills; eight digs and two solo blocks while junior
Rachel Selmore hit .350 with 10 kills on 20 attempts with only three errors. Senior
Kaitlin Mac Iver dished out a team high 35 assists while senior
Emily Harris led the team on defense with 14 digs. Rookie
Kristen Behrens posted 12 digs and one kill. Senior
Nicole Herrmann dished out seven assists of her own in the match. The team combined efforts to hit .271 with 50 total kills on 129 attempts with 15 errors. Ramapo also recorded seven aces and three total blocks.
The Scarlet Raptors were led by Brooke Hassan with seven kills as she hit .353 on 17 attempts and only one error. She also led the team with 15 assists and collected seven digs. Courtnee Wilkerson added five kills while Erin Thompson collected 18 digs to lead the team. Rutgers-Camden hit .097 in the match with 24 total kills on 113 attempts with 13 errors.

The team also honored
Larysa Iwaskiw between games two and three for becoming the all-time kills leader at Ramapo. Iwaskiw broke the record with her 863rd career kill in a 3-1 win over Kean University on October 5th, she now has 947 kills.
Ramapo returns to action on October 27th when they travel to NJAC rival Stockton University for a 7pm match.
