Rome, GA: The Ramapo College men's soccer team fell to host Berry College this afternoon, 1-0, at the Berry Invitational. The Roadrunners now stand at 3-1 overall on the year while Berry improves to 3-0.
Berry would score the lone goal of the game with 3:08 remaining in the first half, by Christian Fulbright with an assist from Zak Wallingford. Berry held a 8-4 advantage in shots in the first half and a 2-1 edge in corner kicks.
Ramapo could not find the back of the net in the second half, despite holding an 8-6 advantage in shots in the half.
Matthew Hernandez collected seven saves for the Roadrunners while Jon Nelson posted four of his own for Berry. Berry collected five corner kicks to the Roadrunners' one for the game.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow afternoon at 4pm against Emory University at the Berry Invitational.
