Dallas, PA: The Ramapo College field hockey team fell to host Misericordia today, 5-1. The Roadrunners now stand at 1-3 overall while the Cougars remain undefeated at 3-0.
Jennifer O'Neill scored three straight goals for Misericordia, all in the first three minutes of the game to take a quick, 3-0 lead. Colby Eldridge took a cross from Hana Harvey to take a, 4-0 lead before Ramapo's
Gianna Mouskourie scored an unassisted goal in the 14th minute of the game.
In the second half, Eldridge tallied her second goal of the game in the 46th minute, extending their lead, 5-1. Misericordia dominated the game holding a 31-6 advantage in shots. Ramapo's
Emily Wisneski tallied 20 saves in goal while
Kelsey Lawrence added another two defensive saves for the Roadrunners.
Ramapo will return to action on September 9th when they travel to Western Connecticut State University for a non-conference game at 7pm.
