Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's soccer team posted a 2-0 blanking over the Panthers of Purchase College today in a non-conference match-up at the Athletic Center.  The Roadrunners improve to 6-2-2 overall on the year, while the Panthers fall to 4-3-1.

It took just over three minutes for the Roadrunners to get on the scoreboard after a corner kick from Cristian Trujillo landed perfectly for Nick Brancato to head past a diving goaltender.  The goal was the only one of the half as Ramapo held a 12-5 advantage in shots in the first 45 minutes of play.  Brady O'Connor made three saves for Ramapo in the half while Esteban Aguilar blocked three for the Panthers.

Ramapo again got on the scoreboard quickly at the start of the second half as rookie Justin Olaya tallied his fifth of the season, off an assist from fellow rookie Kevin Villanueva.  The goal coming at 47:51, would be the final goal of the day where Ramapo came out on top, 2-0.

Ramapo again held an advantage in shots, this time 9-6, and O'Connor made an additional two saves in goal for the Roadrunners.  Aguilar posted four more saves in goal for Purchase.

The Roadrunners take on NJAC rival William Paterson when they return to action on Saturday, September 27th at 1pm in Wayne, NJ.
