Scranton, PA: Ramapo College dropped a tough 1-0 decision today to Marywood University, in a non-conference field hockey match-up on the road. With the loss the Roadrunners fall to 1-9 overall on the year. Marywood improves to 4-4.
Leanne McManus scored the game's lone goal at 6:30 off a cross from Julie Kowalski, the goal ending up the game winner.
Marywood and Ramapo posted even shots, nine each, across the 70 minutes of play, while Ramapo's
Emily Kramer posted four saves in the cage. Melissa Paulus also made four saves for Marywood.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, September 27th when they travel to Richard Stockton College for a 1pm NJAC match-up in Galloway, NJ.
