Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team fell to #10/14 Montclair State University today, 4-0. The Red Hawks improve to 14-1-1 overall, 7-0-1 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 4-9-2 overall, 2-5 in the conference.

Kaila Fasano scored a goal off a pass from Melissa Koster in the 16th minute to put the Red Hawks on the board, 1-0. Montclair scored an insurance goal with 19 seconds to play in the first half when Martina Landeka tallied her seventh goal of the season off a pass from Kimberly Mignone. Montclair held a 10-6 advantage in shots in the first half.

The Red Hawks extended their lead in the second half to, 4-0, with goals from Fasano and Jennie Hornstra. Fasano tallied her team leading 12th goal of the season off a pass from Shawna Grabowski in the 48th minute before Hornstra scored her seventh goal of the year in the 51st minute.

Montclair held a 15-4 edge in shots in the second half, 25-10 for the game. The Roadrunners held a 4-3 edge in corner kicks in the game.

Gina Policastro posted five saves in the game for Red Hawks while Jessica Cusick tallied nine saves for the Roadrunners.

The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 25th when they host Brooklyn College in a non-conference game at 2pm. Ramapo will honor their senior class in a ceremony prior to the start of the game.
