Box Score Glassboro, NJ: The Ramapo College field hockey team fell to NJAC rival Rowan University on the road, 0-6. The Profs improve to 11-3 overall, 4-0 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 2-14 overall, 0-4 in the conference.
Rowan scored three goals in the first half to take a 3-0 lead. Courtney Aquino scored the eventual game winning goal in the 20th minute off a pass from Kellie Campbell to take a 1-0 lead. Jenna Pressler scored the second goal in the 22nd minute before Same Browne scored the third goal of the half in the 32nd minute off a pass from Johanna James.
In the second half, Browne tallied two more goals extending the Rowan lead to, 5-0, before James tallied Rowan's sixth goal of the game in the 62nd minute for a 6-0 score. Rowan recorded 22 shots in the game to Ramapo's three while the Profs tallied 18 penalty corners.
Emily Wisneski tallied six saves in the cage for the Roadrunners.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 25th when they host Stevens Institute of Technology at 12pm. The team will honor their senior class in a ceremony prior to the start of the game.
