Madison, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swimming team defeated FDU-Florham tonight, 172-32, in their first meet of the 2014-2015 season.
The Roadrunners won the 200-yard medley relay to begin the meet as the team clocked in at 1:42.80. The team was made up of
Phil Sokoloff,
RJ Carillo,
Jose Alferez and
Andrew Ramos.
Brian Henningsen won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:52.20 while Dan Drozdewicz clocked in at 1:56.00 in the 200-yard freestyle for a first place finish. Ramos out-touched the Devils at the wall in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.40. Alferez posted a time of 2:08.20 for a first place finish in the 200 IM while he also came in first in the 100-yard butterfuly in 56 seconds flat.
Kevin Guo won the 100-yard freestyle (50.10) while Ramos captures another first place finish in the 100-yard backstroke in 56.50.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 18th when they host NJAC rival The College of New Jersey at 2pm.
