Box Score Newark, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's soccer team (4-4-1, 1-2 NJAC) fell to NJAC rival Rutgers-Newark University (9-2-0, 1-1 NJAC) in overtime, 0-1.

The Scarlet Raiders' Raphael Araujo scored his 16th goal of the season as he led the Rutgers-Newark men's soccer team over Ramapo in overtime, 1-0. Araujo scored in the 94th minute (93:57), he was assisted by Anthony DeRisi.

Matt Broomall posted six saves in the win for the Scarlet Raiders while Steve Monaghan posted four saves for the Roadrunners.

Rutgers-Newark held a 23-13 advantage in shots in the game including a 3-0 lead in the overtime period. The Roadrunners tallied two corner kicks in the game to the Scarlet Raiders six.

Ramapo will return to action when they host NJAC rival William Paterson University at 3pm at the Athletic Center turf field on October 2nd.
