Box Score Scranton, PA: The Ramapo College field hockey team fell to Keystone College today on the road, 4-1. The Roadrunners fall to 0-7 overall while the Giants (1-5) earn their first win of the season.
The Giants got on the board just 58 seconds into the game with a goal from Jessica Fusco off a pass from Christiana Nevers. They teamed up again early in the second half to take a 2-0 lead.
Ramapo scored a goal in the 42nd minute to come within one, 1-2.
Megan Minneci connected on a pass from
Dana Shea to score her first goal of the season.
Keystone scored two more goals in the game while Ramapo could not hit the back of the cage. The Giants came away with the 4-1 victory.
Emily Kramer recorded four saves in the game for Ramapo while Nichole Blank posted two saves for the Giants. Ramapo held a 12-9 advantage in shots in the game and a 15-8 lead in penalty corners.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, September 25th when they travel to Union College at 6pm.
