Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College baseball team has earned an at-large bid to the 2013 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament to take place on May 15th-19th, 2013.

The Mid-Atlantic Regional will take place at PNC Field in Moosic, PA, home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. The Roadrunners (28-14-1) are the #6 seed in the eight-team regional and will take on host #3 Misericordia University on Wednesday, May 15th at 4:30pm.

This is the third straight at-large bid the Roadrunners have earned and tenth in program history (1980-1985,1988, 2011-2013). Ramapo won the 1984 NCAA Division III College World Series and finished 35-11 overall. The Roadrunners matched that win total during the 2012 season when they finished 35-15 overall.

There will be live stats, live video and radio for all games at the regional.  All links will become live prior to the game and can be found on www.ramapoathletics.com. Admission will be charged throughout the tournament, per day, with access to all contests each day. General admission is $8 and students, seniors and children under 12 is $4. Official NCAA Baseball Tournament souvenirs as well as concessions will be sold on site throughout the tournament.

Six teams will compete at four regional sites and eight teams will compete at four regional sites. All regionals will use a double-elimination format. Thirty-eight conference champions qualified automatically. Winners of the eight regional tournaments will qualify for the double-elimination championship May 24-28 at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wis.
