Box Score 2 Mahwah, NJ: The #5/13 Ramapo College baseball team swept a NJAC double header from visiting Richard Stockton College, 6-5 in ten innings and 5-4 in 11 innings today at Jeff Maund Field.
The Roadrunners now stand at 16-3 overall, 4-2 in the NJAC while the Ospreys fall to 12-12 overall and 0-5 in the NJAC.

Neither team scored until the top of the seventh inning when the Ospreys got on the board with one run of their own. Ramapo would add two runs in the bottom half of the inning for a 4-1 lead. With one out, sophomore

Anthony Vinci connected on back to back singles, putting runner's on the corners for senior
Dave Jacob. Jacob took the second pitch he saw and ripped it into centerfield, plating Case. Junior
John Capuano placed a sac bunt down as Vinci raced home for the second run of the inning.
In the eighth, the Ospreys would come back to tie the game, 4-4, before they took a one run lead in the tenth, 5-4. Barry Larro led off the 10th with a double down the left field line before Brett Solomen singled up the middle allowing Larro to come around and score for the lead.

Ryan Rinsky drew a walk before being lifted for pinch runner, rookie
Carmine Fanelli. With two outs, sophomore
Zach Carroll walked on four pitches before
Brandon Berger ripped a single to centerfield plating Fanelli and allowing Carroll to move up to third base. Senior
Anthony Vinci was down to his last strike as he beat out an infield hit to the shortstop as Carroll scored the game winning run, 6-5.
Jacob was 4-5 with one RBI while Paulus and Vinci each collected two hits for the Roadrunners. Senior
Travis Zilg recorded the no decision, working seven innings with seven strikeouts and only one walk.
Walker Larson improved to 2-0 as he worked the final inning.
In game two, the Osprey's led 3-0 heading into the bottom of the fifth inning. Vinci walked before Jacob took the third pitch he saw and belted it over the left centerfield fence to come within one, 2-3. With two outs, Werr singled before moving to second on a wild pitch and came around to score on an infield error for the 3-3 tie.
Neither team would score until the 11th inning. The Ospreys scored one run to take a 4-3 lead. In the bottom half of the inning, Carroll walked before pinch hitter Berger and Jacob both reached base on back to back hit by pitches to load the bases with one out. With the infield drawn in, Capuano laced a single through the right side into right field as Carroll scored and Berger touched home plate just before the tag with the game winning run, 5-4.
Jacob led the Roadrunners at the plate going 4-5 with one run scored and two RBI while Capuano was 3-6 with two RBI. Senior
Frank Baldini took the no decision in the game as he worked the first 7.1 innings, with four strikeouts, scattering eight hits.
Walker Larson worked the next 3.1 innings, striking out one and scattering three hits.
Kyle Doerr got the final out of the 10th and earned the win improving to 1-0.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday when they host University of Scranton at 3:30pm.
