Camden, NJ: The Ramapo College men's tennis team defeated Rutgers-Camden University today, 7-2, at Rutgers-Camden Community Park, The Roadrunners improve to 4-3 overall while the Scarlet Raptors fall to 4-2.
Ramapo only took one point out of doubles action as
Justin Gerstl and
Evan Clayton won, 8-3 before they swept all six singles matches to win the match, 7-2. Gerstl blanked his opponent, 6-0 & 6-0 at first singles while Clayton won at second singles, 4-6, 6-1, 7-6.
Jacob Khodakov posted a 6-1 & 6-1 win at third singles while
Miles Murphy won at fourth singles, 6-4 & 6-2.
Matt Giuliari and
John Seaman each won their matches at fifth and sixth spots respectively.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host Rutgers-Newark University on Friday, April 5th at 3:30pm.
