Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The #14/20 Ramapo College baseball team defeated non-conference foe Manhattanville College today, 16-5. The Roadrunners belted out 17 hits in the game to improve to 21-5-1 overall while the Valiants fall to 10-21 overall.

Brandon Berger with the bases loaded with a single to left field before
Kevin Kelly ripped a two-out double to left center field that cleared the bases, putting Ramapo up, 4-3.
Kevin Case then singled down the right field line allowing Kelly to come around to score extending the Ramapo lead, 5-3.
In the fifth inning, Ramapo scored seven runs on five hits to take a 12-3 lead. The inning was highlighted by sophomore
Dan McEldowney's two RBI double down the left field line. In the top of the sixth, Manhattanville scored two runs, 12-5 before Ramapo came back and scored one run each in the sixth and seventh innings to take a 14-5 lead.

Kevin Case came around to score on the play, 16-5.
Nick Cavanaugh (1-0) earned the win on the mound, striking out four and walking none while he scattered five hits. Carroll, Jacob, McEldowney and Vinci all drove in two RBI in the game while Kelly led the team with three RBI.
Ramapo returns to action when they host NJAC rival Rutgers-Newark University tomorrow afternoon at 3:30pm at Jeff Maund Field.
