Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swim team defeated non-conference rival the College of Staten Island, 146-95, today at the Bradley Center.

The Roadrunners improve to 5-1 overall while the Dolphins fall to 4-2 overall. The men's 200-yard medley relay team made up of Phil Sokoloff, RJ Carillo, Anthony Cusmano and Philip Mathys took home a first place finish in 1:41.40.

Peter Kellner and Derek Schlieman finished 1-2 in the 1,000-yard freestyle with times of 10:39.17 and 11:18.58 respectively. Brian Henningsen placed first in the 200-yard free (1:52.89) while Sokoloff placed first in the 100-yard backstroke (55.57). The Roadrunners went 1-2-3 in the 50-yard freestyle race. Mathys, Kevin Guo and Kevin Fries each clocked in at 22.56, 22.92, 22.98, respectively. Sokoloff (50.08) and Maciej Maj (50.52) went 1-2 in the 100-yard freestyle while Kellner clocked in at 2:08.17 in the 200-yard backstroke for a first place finish. Henningsen out touched CSI in the 500-yard freestyle for a first place finish with a time of 4:57.41.

The Roadrunners return to action at the Florida International University Invite on January 4th, in Miami, FL.
