New Paltz, NY:  The Ramapo College men's swim team defeated non-conference rival New Paltz today, 153-104. The Roadrunners improve to 2-1 overall.

Ramapo placed first overall in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:43.07, the team was made up of James Campbell, RJ Carillo, Anthony Cusmano and Philip Mathys. Peter Kellner finished second in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:45.23 while Philip Sokoloff took home a first place finish in the 200-yard freestyle when he clocked in at 1:48.20. Mathys won the 50-yard freestyle in 22.22 while Maciej Maj clocked in at 23.38 with a third place finish. Mathys also won the 100-yard freestyle in 48.95. Sokoloff and Stanton went 1-2 in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:03.32 and 2:09.82.

Anthony Stanton and Jimmy Campbell finished 1-2 in the 100-yard backstroke with times of 58.20 and 58.54. Carillo placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:03.25 while Ramapo took the top three spots in the 200-yard butterfuly. Dan Drozdewicz, Kellner and Brian Henningsen finished 1-2-3 with times of 2:07.02, 2:12.64 and 2:13.24. Carillo won the 200-yard breaststroke (2:20.08) while Cusmano won the 100-yard butterfuly in 56.75.

The Roadrunners return to action on November 9th when they host New Jersey Institute of Technology at 2pm.
