Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team fell to NJAC rival Montclair State University today at the Athletic Center, 2-1. The Red Hawks improve to 15-2-2 overall, 4-2 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 7-9-2 overall, 2-7 in the conference.

Andrew Kirshteyn scored an unassisted goal in the 13th minute of the game to take a 1-0 lead over #23 Montclair State.
The Red Hawks would tie the game, 1-1, just six minutes later as Brian Cullen scored his 10th goal of the season. The Roadrunners had a great opportunity to take a one goal lead late in the first half when the MSU goalie was pulled out of the net and Ramapo's shot was cleared before crossing the line by a Red Hawks defender. MSU posted a 15-5 advantage in shots in the first half.
In the second half, MSU took a 2-1 lead as Lucas Terci took a pass from Maxx Wurzburger for his eighth goal of the season. Both teams had numerous opportunities to score in the second half but both goalies were able to come up with the save.
Ramapo posted 12 shots to MSU's nine in the second half.
Steve Monaghan recorded seven saves in the game while Mike Gonzalez recorded six for the Red Hawks. Ramapo held a slight advantage in corner kicks, 5-4.
