MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO RUTGERS-CAMDEN, 4-1

Box Score Camden, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's soccer team fell to NJAC rival Rutgers-Camden University today, 1-4. The Roadrunners fall to 7-8-2 overall and 2-6 in the NJAC while the Scarlet Raptors improve to 16-0-2 overall, 6-0-2 in the conference.

Connor Hurff connected with Mike Ryan to score his fifth goal of the season just 4:22 into the game to put the Scarlet Raptors up, 1-0. Ryan then scored his team leading 15th goal of the season just over 23 minutes into the game before Grant Taylor tallied their third goal to take a 3-0 lead.

Bayley Young scored his first collegiate goal of his career off on a header from a pass by Anthony Pasciolla at the end of the first half cutting the Scarlet Raptor lead, 1-3.

Ryan would pick up his second assist of the game in the second half as he slipped a pass to Mitch Grotti for his sixth goal of the season for a 4-1 lead.

In the win, Mike Randall posted six saves for the Scarlet Raptors while Brian Petrunik collected six saves for the Roadrunners.

Rutgers-Camden out shot the Roadrunners in the game, 21-13, while collecting five corner kicks to Ramapo's two.

The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, October 30th when they host Montclair State University at 3:00pm in their final home game of the season. Ramapo will honor it's men's soccer senior class in a ceremony prior to the start of the game.
