Box Score Danbury, CT: The Ramapo College men's soccer team defeated non-conference rival Western Connecticut State University tonight, 1-0. The Roadrunners now stand at 7-7-3 overall while the Colonials fall to 3-11-2.
Zach Savacool collected a pass from senior
Dave Przybylo before hitting the back of the net as he scored his first goal of the season to put the Roadrunners up, 1-0 (6:57).
The Ramapo defense and sophomore goalie
Brian Petrunik would make the score stand as they did not allow a Colonial goal. Petrunik tallied two saves in the game, one in each half, in his third shutout of the season.
Ramapo collected nine shots in the game to the Colonials seven while Western Connecticut held a slight 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 26th when they travel to Rutgers-Camden University for a 1pm game.
