MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO NJAC RIVAL ROWAN

Box Score Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's soccer team fell short to conference rival Rowan University today at the Athletic Center, 0-1.

The Roadrunners now stand at 6-6-2 overall and 2-4 in the NJAC while the Profs improve to 8-7 overall, 2-4 in the conference.

Both teams had chances to score in the first half, but Rowan's Ousmane Sall was able to find the back of the net and the eventual game winning goal late in the second half (73:18), 1-0.

Ramapo was playing a man down for the final 47:25 of the game following an ejection of a Roadrunner defender. Both teams posted 11 shots in the game while Rowan held a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks. Rowan was also credited with 22 fouls in the game to Ramapo's nine.

Ramapo goalie, Brian Petrunik posted three saves in the game, all in the second half. Rowan goalie, Ryan Gill recorded five saves.

Ramapo returns to action when they travel to NJAC rival Richard Stockton College on Saturday, October 19th at 1pm.
