Box Score Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team fell to NJAC rival Kean University today, 3-0 at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners fall to 5-5 overall, 2-3 in the NJAC while the Cougars improve to 7-4 overall, 3-2 in the conference.
Luis Velasques led the Cougars in the 3-0 shutout win with two goals. Velasquez teamed with Kharee Winslow in the 34th minute to score his third goal of the season before he put Kean up 2-0 in the second half with an unassisted goal from 20-yards out, his fourth of the season.
Jacob Krygowski scored his first goal of the year in the 87th minute to extend Kean's lead, 3-0. He was assisted by Michael Custidiano.
Tyler Callahan and
Brian Petrunik each recorded six saves in the game. Kean held a 13-12 edge in shots while Ramapo had four corner kicks to Kean's two.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday when they travel to non-conference rival Drew University for a 7pm game.
