Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's tennis team wrapped up the 2011-2012 season with an eleven game win streak as they defeated Manhattanville today, 8-2.
The Roadrunners finish with one of the best records in program history at 12-2 overall. They matched the win total of the 2007 team who finished 12-3 overall.
Sam Klein and
Jacob Khodakov shutout their opponents at second doubles with an 8-0 win while Justin Gersti and Even Clayton won in the first slot, 9-8 and
Matt Giuliari and
Peter Gramlich won at third doubles, 8-2.
Ramapo won five matches in singles play while Gramlich swept at the fifth spot, 6-0 & 6-0. Clayton and Klein won at second and third singles respectively, 6-2, 6-2 and 6-3, 1-6, 10-6. Kohdakov picked up a win at fourth singles, 6-1 and 6-0 before
Francis Osolnick won at sixth singles, 6-0 and 6-1.
