Mahwah, NJ: Ramapo men's swimming defeated New Paltz, 142-109 today at the Adele and Reuben Thomas swimming pool in a non-conference match-up imrpoving to 3-1 overall.
The 400-yard medley relay team, made up of
James Campbell,
Frank Patierno,
Charlie May, and
Maciej Maj, placed 1st overall finishing in 3:42.20, while
Phil Sokoloff,
Kyle Plucinsky, Anthony Cusamano, and
Trevor Marshall finished the same race in 2nd place overall touching the pool side in 3:51.51.
Brian Henningsen finished the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:16.02 finishing in 1st place while
Peter Kellner earned 1st place in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:48.68. Kellner also placed 1st in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:06.30. Marshall placed 1st in the 100-yard backstroke clocking in in 57.25 and the 100-yard freestyle in 50.03, and Plucinsky finished the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:03.33 for a 1st place ribbon of his own. Henningsen earned another 1st place in the 200-yard butterfly finishing the race in 2:04.51 and
Geoff Richter placed 1st in the 50-yard freestyle sprint in 23.46.
The Roadrunners return to action on January 26th when they travel to Montclair State for a 1pm NJAC match-up.
