Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swimming team earned non-conference wins today over Pace University, 74-48, and NJIT, 69-53 to improve to 2-1 overall on the year.
Peter Kellner earned first place in the 200-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle touching the pool side in 1:48.33 and 4:59.12 respectively, while
Phil Sokoloff placed first overall in the 100-yard backstroke finishing the race in 55.61.
Brian Henningsen finished the 200-yard butterfly in 2:03.63 for a first place ribbon and clocked in in second place in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:01.5.
Sokoloff finished the 200-yard backstroke in 2:03.43 for second place and
Kyle Plucinsky earned second place in the 100-yard breaststroke touching the pool side in 1:02.80.
Kellner,
Robert Stein, Anthony Cusamano, and
Trevor Marshall combined efforts in the 400-yard medley relay clocking in at 3:42.05 for a second place finish.
The Roadrunners return to action on November 30th - December 2nd when they travel to the Franklin & Marshall Invitational in Lancaster, PA.
