Box Score Glassboro, NJ: The Rowan University field hockey team won 2-1 over Ramapo College in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game on Saturday afternoon.
The Profs, ranked 17th, are 10-3 overall and 2-1 in the conference. Rowan has won six straight games. The Roadrunners have a 3-6 record with a 1-2 NJAC mark.
Rowan was ahead 1-0 after the first half with a goal by back Jenna O'Sullivan. Forward Kellie Campbell passed from the right side to O'Sullivan who was waiting in front of the Ramapo cage.
In the second period, back Kelsey O'Neill scored the second goal at 40:36. Midfielder Marisa Schoepflin had the assist. O'Neill's goal came on a shot from seven yards with a feed from Schoepflin just inside the top of the circle. Forward
Victoria Ahlers recorded Ramapo's goal at 51:47. She was on the left side and her shot went into the lower left corner of the Profs' cage.

Ramapo returned to action when they travel to NJAC rival William Paterson University on Friday, October 12th at 7pm.
