#5 MSU DEFEATS RAMAPO IN MEN'S SOCCER, 2-0

Box Score Montclair, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's soccer team fell to NJAC rival #5 Montclair State University tonight at MSU Soccer Park. The Roadrunners now stand at 8-8-1 overall, 4-5 in the NJAC while the Red Hawks improve to 17-1 overall, 8-1 in the conference.

Ramapo finished the NJAC season tied with Kean University with 12 points but they will not advance to the NJAC Tournament because of the tie-breaker rule. Kean defeated Ramapo earlier in the year.

MSU scored late in the first half as Jesse Shea scored his fourth goal of the season in the 42nd minute. Lucas Terci took a pass from Trey Leggett to score his fifth goal of the season in the second half (88:25) to put the Red Hawks up 2-0.

MSU out shot Ramapo, 27-7 in the game while they held a 8-4 advantage in corners.

For the Roadrunners, rookie Grant Korten made eight stops in the net while Anthony Rogic stopped two for the Red Hawks in the shut out win.
