Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swim team defeated NJAC rival William Paterson University tonight, 182-80. The Roadrunners improve to 4-1 overall, 2-1 in the conference while the Pioneers fall to 8-5 overall, 0-3 in the NJAC.
The 200-yard medley relay team made up of
James Campbell,
Kevin Landmesser, Anthony Cusamano and
Maciej Maj took home a first place finish with a time of 1:45.78. Philip Sokoloff won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:27.33 while
Mike Waterhouse (1:54.47) and
Andrew English (154.88) finished in first and second place respectively.
Robert Stein and Maier went 1-2 in the 100-yard breaststroke with times of 1:02.98 and 1:03.73.
Waterhouse captured a first place finish in the 50-yard freestyle in 23 seconds flat while
Stephen Fox finished first in the 100-yard freestyle in 51.26. Fox also placed first in the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.51).
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to NJAC rival Rowan University on February 4th at 1:00pm for their final conference meet of the season.
