Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swimming team defeated NJAC rival Montclair State University today at the Adele and Reuben Thomas Swimming Pool. The Roadrunners improve to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
The Roadrunners won ten out of 14 events in the meet led by
Mike Waterhouse who recorded three first place finishes, 100-yard freestyle (50.42), 100-yard butterfly (55.10) and 200-yard butterfly (2:11.13).
Stephen Fox won the 100-yard backstroke (56.77), 200-yard backstroke (2:02.05) and the 50-yard freestyle (22.49). Rookie
Phil Sokoloff captured a first place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle in a time of 10:22.84.
Robert Stein placed first in the 200-yard breaststoke when he clocked in at 2:17.42. The 200-yard medley relay team made up of Fox,
Richard Maier, Waterhouse and Sokolff also placed first with a time of 1:39.01.
Prior to the meet the Roadrunners honored their seniors,

The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday when they host NJAC rival William Paterson University at 6:00pm.
