Owings Mills, MD: The Ramapo College field hockey team remained undefeated on the 2011 season with a 7-2 victory over Delaware Valley College at the Black-Eyed Susan Tournament. The tournament is being hosted by Stevenson University.
Amanda Barretta tallied her fourth and fifth goals of the season to get Ramapo on the board, 2-0.
Katie Bruno took a pass from
Dana Shea for her first goal of the season to go up 3-0.
Nicole Kaspar made it 4-0 for the Roadrunners to close out the half at the 22:22 mark.
In the second half
Jayne Manigrasso scored her third goal of the season, unassisted just 58 seconds into the half.
Victoria Ahlers and
Amanda Ferry added goals for Ramapo to go up 7-2.
Ramapo out shot the Aggies, 26-10 and had a 13-7 advantage in penalty corners.
Rebecca Elliott tallied two saves in 59:37 minutes in the game while
Alicia Lyons recorded one save in the final 10:23.
Ramapo returns to action tomorrow at 2:00pm vs. King's College at the Black-Eyed Susan Tournament.
