Annandale-on-Hudson, NY: The Ramapo College men's tennis team raised their record to 5-1 on the year with a 9-0 win over Bard College (2-4).
In doubles action, Bard won five games as Ramapo won each match to come away with three points heading into singles play.
Prasanna Fernando and
Sam Klein won at first doubles, 8-3 before
Evan Clayton and
Matt Giuliari shutout their opponent, 8-0 at second doubles. Doug Gromack and
Francis Osolnick downed Jakob Friedman and Mohammed M. Rhamati, 8-2 at third doubles.
Fernando swept, 6-0 and 6-0 at first singles before Klien won at second singles, 6-1, 6-0. Clayton defeated Joel Richmond, 7-6, 3-6 15-13 at third singles before Gromack picked up the win at fourth singles, 6-1 and 6-1. Osolnick and Giuliari both won at fifth and sixth singles respectively, 6-0 and 6-1.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host the City College of New York on April 11th at 3:30 pm.
