Flushing, NY: The Ramapo College men's tennis team improved to 7-2 overall with a 5-4 win at Hunter College. The Hawks drop to 8-4 overall.
Doug Gromack came back at sixth singles with the team scored tied at 4-4 to win 7-6 and 6-1. Gromack is currently undefeated on the season with an 9-0 overall singles record. He also boasts a 3-1 doubles record.
The Roadrunners also won at third, fourth and fifth singles.
Evan Clayton won at third singles, 6-4 and 6-0 while
Francis Osolnick picked up a win at fourth singles (6-1, 6-1) and
Matt Giuliari won at fifth singles with a shutout, 6-0 and 6-0.
The doubles team of Osolnick and Gromack won the only match for Ramapo in doubles play with a 8-4 win.
This was the Roadrunners final scheduled match of the season. They finished 7-2 overall with many great individual performances.
