Rob Santaniello scored the game-winning goal with just 61 seconds remaining in the game to lift Ramapo College to a 2-1 victory over host Kean University in New Jersey Athletic Conference men's soccer action on Saturday afternoon.
Santaniello corralled the loose ball about 35 yards out and took it in for the breakaway goal to break the 1-1 tie for the Roadrunners (6-2-2, 2-1-1 NJAC). The Cougars (6-3-2, 3-2-0 NJAC) held a slight 16-15 advantage in shots and 6-0 edge in corner kicks.

Chris Freeman sent a pass to senior midfielder
Andy Cesti, who fired a shot from about 30-yards out on the left into the upper right hand corner of the net in the 15th minute.
Seven minutes later, the Cougars knotted the game at 1-1 when junior Albert Dul crossed the ball in front of the net and junior Kharee Winslow headed home the shot at the 21:20 mark.
For the Cougars, sophomore Tyler Callahan made five saves, while Ramapo keeper
Steve Monaghan stopped four shots.
Ramapo returns to action when they host non-conference rival Drew University at 4:00 PM.
